Queens rapper SHIRT has partnered with tastemakers HighSnobiety to debut the thought-provoking visual “WOMEN IS GOD” from his album Pure Beauty.

“WOMAN IS GOD” was filmed in Freetown, Sierra Leone and various surrounding provinces this past year. SHIRT spent ten days exploring the region, having conversations, and witnessing first hand the complexities and perseverance of its people and land. The experience was both the most beautiful and heartbreaking of his life. The stories of daily struggles for food and water, of hiding for your life from militant rebel forces, of friends and loved ones falling ill, unimaginable kindness, resilience, and overall rich history have inspired this video.

“WOMAN IS GOD” is the third visual released from his Pure Beauty album following the socially conscious hometown tribute “Flight Home” and the inside look at Detroit’s Third Man Pressing with “Climate Change.”
