Olivia Jean has been pounding the pavement on multiple tours over the past few months and making serious waves with debut release Bathtub Love Killings. WBEZ's Jim DeRogatis called her, "incredibly versatile and virtuosic musician able to play any instrument she picks up, further strengthened by an encyclopedic knowledge of music," while saying he "wasn’t quite prepared for the joys of Bathtub Love Killings."
Stephen Thomas Erlewine pointed out Olivia's "coquettish wink... that's beguiling" in his All Music Review, and Uncut's Peter Watts appreciated her "deadpan delivery that neatly undercut her catchy, garage-blues riffs."
Of course, we realize that you all already know Olivia Jean is one talented lady, but sometimes we just want to brag a little...

Olivia Jean is back out on the road this week, beginning tomorrow night at the Stone Fox in Nashville, then headed to Louisville, Boston, Brooklyn, Washington DC, and Carrboro, North Carolina. If you're lucky enough to live along her route, be sure to pick up tickets to her show in your zip code.
