And... one item we're very excited to announce. We have been collaborating with U-Turn audio, a wonderful crew of folks who build and test affordable and high quality record players in Boston, Massachusetts to produce a Hive-ified version of their Orbit Plus Turntable, and tomorrow, our labor of love makes its debut. It is slick, slick, slick. and it's been hailed by those-in-the-know as "by far, the bast bang for your buck we've seen in a turntable" and "good as equipment twice its price." Not too shabby, eh? The Third Man Records U-Turn Orbit Plus delivers enhanced speed consistency, and a nice, punchy bass. The arm comes pre-installed with a Grado Black1 cartridge, which is known for its rich and natural sound, plus a precision univpivot tonearm, vibration damping feet, and a decoupled manual belt drive (33/45 RPM).
