Last night in Washington D.C. our Nashville friends at the Americana Music Association announced their award nominees, granting honors to Chris Stapleton, the Alabama Shakes, Leon Bridges, The Milk Carton Kids, and our own Margo Price, among many other talented acts. Margo was nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for "Hand of Time," the opening track on her new album Midwest Farmer's Daughter. It is a privilege to be the label home for Margo and her incredible debut effort. We look forward to the Americana conference this September and offer our sincere congratulations to all nominees. Watch the nomination ceremony in its entirety, including a performance by Margo of her song "Desperate and Depressed" (the non-album B-Side to her "Hurtin (On the Bottle)" 7" single), at NPR's Facebook page.
