In an era when rock & roll and rockabilly was dominated by men, Jackson was a groundbreaker who more than held her own with a ripping voice like no other and hard-headed songs about no-nonsense female protagonists. Her career has spanned rockabilly, rock and roll, country and gospel and she's shared stages with all the greats from Elvis Presley to Jerry Lee Lewis. Jackson’s first release with Third Man Records shows her putting her own distinctive spin on two cover songs, Amy Winehouse's "You Know I'm No Good" and Johnny Kidd and the Pirates classic rocker “Shakin' All Over.”
